Gassville is a thriving community that provides services and amenities of a much larger city. Shopping, banking, dining and more are all within a few blocks, allowing residents to enjoy the conveniences necessary for an active retirement lifestyle.
The town is home to approximately 2,100 residents.
Gassville has a police department, a volunteer fire department and a public works staff to maintain the city water system, streets, city parks and waste water treatment facility.
Gassville is home to many businesses and organizations including banks, U.S. Post Office, grocery store, Dollar General store, gas station/convenience stores, service businesses (pharmacy, heating/cooling, plumbing, electrician, auto repair/maintenance, etc.) and retailers from antique stores to flea markets. There are a number of churches representing several denominations and faiths.
The city park is the crown jewel of the community. The park features a pavilion for groups, parties and reunions as well as recreation equipment and a walking trail. Each June, the city celebrates with Gassville in the Park. A town-wide celebration with food, music, vendors and fun.
