Marilyn and Melvin Douglas moved from Illinois to River Bend Park in October 2015. They farmed in Illinois for 38 years and operated a goat dairy for 10 years. The Douglas' have two daughters, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and another on the way. 

Marilyn's comments:

"We originally retired to Florida where I worked in a manufactured home community in the development stage. When one of our daughters decided to move to the Mountain Home area and wanted us to follow her, we discovered River Bend Park on the internet."

"After meeting with Donna and Danny Montgomery, looking at their property and listening to the future plans for the community, we decided this is where we wanted to spend our retirement. It has been an easy move for us because of Donna and Danny and all their help.  Coming into a new state, there are always questions while discovering new places, and they are always just a call away with the answers."
